What can I expect?
Lots of people have never even considered hiring an interior designer because they imagine it is a luxury service reserved only for the very wealthy - but this is simply not the case. A good interior designer will help you make the best of your home whatever your budget.
By knowing exactly which products are available on the market at any given time, I am able to create designs that are tailor-made to your needs, leading you to suppliers who will fulfil your requirements - regardless of how much money you want to spend.
So, how does it work?
First of all, I offer a free, no-strings-attached consultation in your home. This gives us a chance to meet personally, discuss your needs and for me to understand the kind of look you have in mind. (And if you don’t know, we’ll work it out together!)
After this meeting you can decide what, if anything, you would like me to do for you. These are the options:
For £100 per room I will produce mood boards showing my proposals for wall and floor treatments, lighting, furniture and accessories. These are yours to take away and use as general inspiration for your own decorating project.
If you decide that you would like to continue your project independently, but purchase the exact items I have recommended - for an additional £80 per room I will provide you with a full “shopping list”, including all prices and where to buy.
If you would like me to complete the project for you - by that I mean organising and co-ordinating deliveries, decorators, curtain-makers, contractors etc and delivering the room finished and styled - I charge a flat rate of £500 per room. (The initial £100 already paid to me is deductible from this amount).
